{"id":2761,"date":"2017-09-27T15:50:15","date_gmt":"2017-09-27T22:50:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sturgepc.org\/wp\/?page_id=2761"},"modified":"2024-08-15T08:31:08","modified_gmt":"2024-08-15T15:31:08","slug":"job-openings","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/sturgepc.org\/wp\/about-us\/job-openings\/","title":{"rendered":"Job Openings"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Music Worship Leader<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p class=\"rich-text editor-rich-text__editable block-editor-rich-text__editable wp-block-paragraph\" role=\"textbox\" aria-multiline=\"true\" aria-label=\"Empty block; start writing or type forward slash to choose a block\">\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n \t<li>part-time (average of 4 hours per week which includes a monthly meeting with the pastor and or worship ministry; preparation of power point for music selection lyrics, leading the congregation in music worship<\/li>\n \t<li>music accompaniment for special holiday services (Christmas Eve \/ Ash Wednesday) and upon request such as memorial services or weddings<\/li>\n \t<li>perfomance reviews will be conducted once a year for the encouragement and support of the worship ministry<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"rich-text editor-rich-text__editable block-editor-rich-text__editable wp-block-paragraph\" role=\"textbox\" aria-multiline=\"true\" aria-label=\"Empty block; start writing or type forward slash to choose a block\">\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n<strong>Desired Qualities<\/strong>\n<p class=\"rich-text editor-rich-text__editable block-editor-rich-text__editable wp-block-paragraph\" role=\"textbox\" aria-multiline=\"true\" aria-label=\"Empty block; start writing or type forward slash to choose a block\">\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n \t<li>able to choose praise songs, hymns or other musical selections based on the sermon scripture\/title<\/li>\n \t<li>staying current with trend in worship music, arts, and technology<\/li>\n \t<li>good organizational skills, flexibility, team identification, and positive attitude<\/li>\n \t<li>ability to create\/maintain worship power point slides and coordinate with AV team<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"rich-text editor-rich-text__editable block-editor-rich-text__editable wp-block-paragraph\" role=\"textbox\" aria-multiline=\"true\" aria-label=\"Empty block; start writing or type forward slash to choose a block\">\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n<strong>Compensation<\/strong><strong>: <\/strong>\n<p class=\"rich-text editor-rich-text__editable block-editor-rich-text__editable wp-block-paragraph\" role=\"textbox\" aria-multiline=\"true\" aria-label=\"Empty block; start writing or type forward slash to choose a block\">\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n \t<li>$200 per Sunday or service including preparation and other separate occasions<\/li>\n \t<li>2 weeks notice will be provided by the church at the end of the contract<\/li>\n \t<li>the position is that of an independent contractor.
