Mission & Outreach: Outreach

We have a number of Outreach programs and we would encourage you to explore each of these, to find what programs may best suit you, in your walk with God.

S.T.E.P. – Sharing Together, Encouraging in Prayer – is a women’s group that meets monthly for a casual walk/hike on the first Sunday of each month.

Youth Group – for middle and high school youth.  Meet for faith, food, fun, and fellowship.  Many activities throughout the year, including mission trips for a day and for a week. SF City Impact, Alaska; 30 hour Famine; Hillsong concert.

55+ Group – for seniors.  Meets once a month for tai chi and lunch.

SF City Impact – for everyone.  At least once a month, a mission trip to the Tenderloin, to share the joy of Jesus Christ and to minister to the neighborhood.

Vacation Bible School – for elementary age children.  At least one week every summer during July; a place for children to come to learn about God and have a lot of fun!

Small Groups – for everyone.  As with the early Church, we meet in small groups to grow in our faith and to encourage others in their walk with God.  Each year, we have a church-wide study; followed by individual programs as set by each group’s leader.

Fifth Sunday Ministry – for everyone.  On those months that have a fifth Sunday, we take our worship outside of the Sturge building and bring it to our neighbors (along with some wonderful food!)

Fellowship Tea – The first Sunday of the month we gather for a sit-down meal and fellowship.
